Hello and welcome to today’s She Hearts Sunday. It’s been absolutely freezing this week so I’ve been inside hibernating with some of my new favourite blogs and of course plenty of Youtube videos. Fashion and beauty inspiration is in abundance today so grab yourself a cuppa and we’ll get started with this week’s hearts.
She Hearts…The Debbie Harry Make Up Look
Youtube royalty Pixiwoo this week uploaded a brilliant Debbie Harry make up tutorial from her Blondie days. I absolutely love Debbie Harry and couldn’t wait to see this gorgeous look come together. I’m definitely going to be giving this look a go, it’s a bold, statement look, but if it’s good enough for Debbie it’s good enough for me. Check it out and don’t forget to subscribe to Pixiwoo for more great make up tutorials.
She Hearts…More Thrifted Winter Looks
If you checked out last week’s She Hearts Sunday then you will have seen the first of The Fashion Citizen’s thrifted winter looks videos. Today it’s the second installment, and I love these videos for the styling but also the enthusiasm the girls have for thrifting and finding great pieces for less. If you need to really be inspired to go routing in your local charity shop or at the boot sale, then this video should be all the coaxing you need. Let’s all get out there and find some bargains!
She Hearts…SaraLuxe
On recently browsing the Look website, I came across their street style section and immediately fell in love with SaraLuxe’s style. Of course, I had to check out her blog and it definitely does not disappoint. Sara’s style is super edgy and fun and her blog is teeming with great outfit posts and behind the scenes looks at shoots she’s been styling. I’m constantly on the lookout for new inspiration and great blogs to read so SaraLuxe is right up my street, and if you’re not already familiar with her blog it’s well worth checking out. What are you waiting for?
She Hearts…Aitor Throup’s Skull Rucksack
Following men’s fashion week just got a whole lot more interesting thanks to Aitor Throup. While checking out the British Fashion Council’s coverage earlier this week I came across this insanely amazing Aitor Throup rucksack, which for a skull-obsessive like me, is just irresistible. Throup’s awesome sculptural design is instantly recognisable and his Shiva Skull Bag is already on my must-have list. It might not be the most feminine, but this rucksack definitely makes a statement, menswear or not.
She Hearts…Frida Johnson of Fyndigt
As you may know, my love of Scandinavian style knows no bounds, so when I came across Frida Johnson’s blog Fyndigt it was love at first sight. I come across loads of great bloggers through Lookbook.nu and Frida is no exception. If chic, scandi-style is your kind of thing, you’ll love Frida’s fashion sense and outfit posts amongst the snow. I know I do!
That’s it for this week’s She Hearts Sunday. Let me know what you’ve been loving this week by leaving me a comment or tweeting me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
